Heathrow Airport Guide · last updated 22 August 2026

Heathrow Airport Guide is an independent travel information site. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the site, and we never sell personal data or use it to identify who you are.

Cookies and analytics

Essential only, until you say otherwise. When you first visit we show a cookie banner. Until you press Accept, no analytics cookies are set: Google Analytics runs in "Consent Mode" and receives only anonymous, cookieless pings. If you press Accept, standard Google Analytics cookies are set so we can understand how the site is used. You can decline and the whole site still works.

We also run our own first-party page counters. These store no personal information at all — no names, no emails, and your IP address is never stored.

Email alerts

If you join our free email alerts, we store: your email address, when you signed up, the page you signed up on, and the version of the consent wording you agreed to. Nothing else — we do not look up who you are, where you work, or anything about you from other sources.

Lawful basis: your consent, given when you typed your email and pressed the button.

Purpose: occasional emails about flight disruption, travel news and deals for this airport. Nothing unrelated, and your address is never shared for anyone else's marketing.

Unsubscribing: every email includes an unsubscribe link, or email us at [email protected] and we will remove you. Unsubscribing is immediate and we keep only a suppression note so you cannot be accidentally re-added.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us at any time to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or export it. Write to [email protected] — we respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.
